Product Controller

- Ability is launching new initiatives in its Climate Finance and Sustainable Food business lines. The Products team is therefore seeking to expand its climate product maintenance with an additional dedicated team member. The position is made for reliable candidates with an eye for detail.

In the fund maintenance process:

- Participate in drafting, implementation and update of the operational memorandum

- Reporting: Contribution to quarterly financial reports: Fund activity text and initial sanity checks in the full report in coordination the report producer

- Answer KYC requests on behalf of the team: gather documents from providers, organize notarization, legalization, apostille etc.

- Handle product invoices: payment, control, budget update

- Audit: Support audit processes from September to May by drafting and implementing timelines, interacting with counterparties (company-internal and with service providers) as to gather documentation and answers to audit queries

Products team related tasks:

- Due Diligence: logistics on-site or online

- Onboarding: coordination with transfer agent on KYC documentation to gather, potential contribution in legal documentation

- Team Requests Coordination and collection of data for ad-hoc queries, including RFPs, such as reports or statements

Fund launch processes:

- Contribution for the update of Fund contractual documentation (ID, IG, IMA, etc.)

- Coordination of drawdowns with service providers.

Your experience and skills:

- Bachelor / Masters' degree from a recognized top institution

- 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in the financial industry or directly with an asset manager

- Very good verbal and written communication skills

- Good team working qualities; independent and reliable working style with the ability to prioritize

- Motivated for the topic and impact investing

- Business fluent written and spoken English skills

- Fluent in written and spoken English

- Proven proficiency with the MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

- Interest in impact investing and contributing to a change.
