Product/Category Management - FMCG

Job Description:

This position would be to deliver Successful and timely executions of the below-mentioned KPI's: Product /Category Management (work closely with the sales and marketing team for achievement of critical KPI's of the category), Forecasting & inventory management.

Job Responsibilities:

- Deliver distribution/Revenue objectives of Products/Categories.

- Maintain a category scorecard including parameters such as revenue/volume/profitability/trade and marketing spends etc. and publish every month.

- Assist the Product Manage in Building Launch Plans for new products.

- Constantly monitor inventory levels at all depots distributors, flag any potential task and work with the field teams to negate the same.

- Working closely with supply chain & operations to build a 3-month rolling forecast for the entire portfolio.

- Category Management - work closely with the sales team for achievement of critical KPI's of the category in that city or chain. Analyzing data to help bridge the gaps in the business, assisting with strategic alliances and required marketing interventions for overall target ach of the category.

- Deliver a minimum of 3 strategic alliances for the category in a year.

- Marketing - Jointly work with the marketing team for the creation of a marketing calendar for the category and execution of the same.

Requirements:

- Overall Work Experience of 3-4 years. Previous experience in product management/category management would be a plus.

- Understanding/experience of having worked in the FMCG space - preferably Food & Beverage.

- Experience in the creation of the forecasting model.

- Excellent written and verbal communication. Should be very versed with Excel and PowerPoint.

- Should be a team player with an ability to influence cross-functional teams.

- Self-starter who would thrive in a fast-paced environment.
