Job Description : - Our client is looking for a team member, who will be responsible for providing analytics on millions of users, for their banking products. Role would be working with cross-functional teams comprising of Data Scientist, Software Engineers, and Data Engineers, enabling senior leadership and team members, to make product decisions. - We are looking for an outstanding, hands-on Business Analyst/ Product Analyst, adept at not only understanding and interpreting data, but who can help structure and scale all analytics requirements of the organisation and influencing change in the organisation. The candidate - should be a self -starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, able to think outside the box and take initiative. - He/she should be smart, passionate, and dedicated to building a great business. Responsibilities : - Take ownership of analytical projects end to end from extracting and exploring data, generating hypotheses, building a structured analysis, and rigorously evaluating methods and results. - Provide analytical and valuable insights for decision-making support for key projects and management. - Work closely with various business functions to identify opportunities, analyse, and interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets using different techniques and tools. - You are numbers-driven and have some experience generating custom/reports and dashboards for end-users. - Communicate findings and propose actionable recommendations to address the problems. - You thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced working environment and enjoy getting hands-on as well as collaborating with fellow analysts to come up with solutions to business users ongoing requirements. Preferred Background / Qualifications : - Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business or Engineering - 2-4-year experience in Product Analytics Domain (Freshers with relevant education background, Preferably Engineering/Finance degree at bachelors' level + MBA degree from top college) - Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills to extract insights and recommendations. - Technical expertise regarding data models, database designs development, data mining and segmentation techniques. - Experience with Python or knowledge of any statistical language. - Hands-on experience in writing advanced SQL queries and handling, wrangling, aggregating, transforming data. - Knowledge of Data Visualization tools like Tableau, MicroStrategy, QlikView. - Proficiency in conducting complex analysis in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. - Ability to communicate qualitative and quantitative results clearly, succinctly and confidently in verbal and written communications.
