Position Title: Procurement Specialist

Department: Finance

Location: Delhi, India (Candidates from North/Delhi NCR only as no relocation assistance provided)

Reports to: Procure-to-Pay (PTP) Manager

Band: 6

Industry: open to industry

APAC Operations experience preferred however someone who has a Regional Level also can be looked at.

Job Purpose

The Procurement Specialist (- Buyer- ) is responsible for ensuring proper procurement of supplies, equipment and services to support Company's APAC daily operations, reviewing purchase order requests for accuracy, and resolving invoice discrepancies with vendors. This position will work closely with Marketing, Research, Legal, GTO, FRES, and DNAP's regional markets to process shopping cart requests and provide customer service and SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) training support.

Core Responsibilities :

The ideal candidate must have a high energy level with a positive attitude, strong problem solving and analytical skills, great customer service and communication skills, be well organized, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

- Process shopping carts prepared by business users in SAP SRM and create purchase orders (POs)for DNAP entities

- Support SRM users with issues surrounding shopping carts, purchase orders, goods receipts/service confirmations, and invoices

- Serve as an expert in the functionality, technology, and the business processes associated with SAP SRM

- Drive best purchasing practices by training new users in SAP and SRM systems

- Track and drive PO compliance to reduce delays and rework in the procure-to-pay(PTP) process

- Perform detailed analysis of spend and other data to develop baselines, identify savings, define efficiency opportunities and target costs, and identify initiatives that should be undertaken

- Maintain repository for contracts and related supporting documentation

- Test new implementations and changes to the procurement system environment

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of PTP and customer service experience in a regional service delivery model or multinational corporation

- An undergraduate degree and/or equivalent related working experience with a proficient understanding of the procurement lifecycle

- High proficiency with Microsoft products, SAP (SRM & Open Text VIM), and purchasing systems

- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and creatively in a fast paced, problem-solving service delivery environment

- Highly motivated with a desire for learning and continuous improvements

- Proven ability to adjust to new or changing requirements while conveying a sense of urgency, driving issues to closure, and ability to effectively organize and prioritize

- Ability to exercise strong communication (written and verbal), customer service, reliability, problem solving and interpersonal skills in a collaborative environment

- Ability to interact effectively and build strong relationships with colleagues, internal partners and external vendors

- Detail oriented, methodical, diligent and possesses strong analytical skills and good business acumen

- Multi-lingual skills preferred, specifically English and Mandarin Chinese
