Procurement Manager - FMCG

Job Description :

Scope of the Job :

- Strategic role with people and cost saving responsibility

- To handle all procurement related activities of the company - RM & PM

- Service Co-manufacture set ups distributed across the country with predominate presence in South India

- Categories spread across - Food - Chocolates & Confectionery; Beverages - Fruit Based & Diary; House Hold Insecticides - Chemicals and Machines parts like fans etc. Personal Care - Product dependent

- Proficiency in Excel & SAP is mandatory

Job Responsibilities :

- Developing organization's purchasing strategy in line with Business strategy and product portfolio.

- Conduct Annual Review and finalize procurement strategy.

- Vendor management & vendor development.

- Effectively handle Inventory Management.

- Sending enquiries to vendors for different raw and packaging materials.

- Strategic Buying decisions for all key commodities

- Stakeholder management for cross functional alignment towards organization goals - availability and working capital management

- Working towards cost reduction & Waste control Methods & Expiry Management.

- Preparation and management of budgets - presentations on adherence to management

- Coordinate with vendors for material delivery post of PO / Billing & Reconciliation afterwards.

- Vendor audits and ensuring compliances

- Roll out best practices in spend management

- Key participant in all cost management initiatives
