Procurement Engineering Role - Electrical/CCTV/Fire Fighting/HVAC Business (6-12 yrs)

Procurement Engineering - Finishing works, electrical, firefighting, plumbing, CCTV and HVAC works


Purpose :

- The role holder will be responsible for all the activities from design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover of the project to the end-user or owner.

Role and responsibilities :

- Manage end to end procurement across multiple locations in India for Greenfield, interiors, MEP, Repair and maintenance and safety projects

- Co-ordinate with the user ends to understand the Scope of work, timelines, terms and obtain the BOQ specs, drawings, Tender documents etc.

- Evaluation of new vendors and selection with concurrence from user end

- Float the RFQ/ RFI/ RFP Inquiries, receive the bids, compile and analyse the commercial Bids

- Based on market prices of materials and comparative analysis of bids, undertake negotiations of prices and payment terms, etc.

- Co-ordinate the recommendation of L1 or suitable Contractor for the job, with feedback from user end

- Obtain cost approval of the final quotes from the management

- Issue LOI / Purchase Order/ Agreement and obtain acknowledgement from Contractor

- Establish process to validate change order scope, rates of extra items, etc. as per requirements of Project

- Create and present regular MIS and dashboards to the management

- Maintaining vendor, consultant database

- Experience and Qualification

Essential :

- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering

- In-depth experience in oracle
