Procurement Consultant - Consulting Firm - Contractual

Our client, a global consulting firm is carrying out a project for a large Metals & Mining major. They are working towards the development of commercial operation & maintenance contracting with business partners along with consolidation of material & service categories.

They are looking for a consultant with prior experience in the procurement domain.

Below summarises the role:

- Running of a PMO to create outcome-based service contracts for specific operations & maintenance

- Conducting, planning & scheduling workshops with business partners

- Cross-functional co-ordination across multiple stakeholders E.g., operations team, procurement team

- Day-to-day co-ordination with procurement and operations teams ensuring timely execution of work

- Setting up governance - running reviews, tracking key metrics, preparing reports

- The consultant will report to the program manager and work closely with the consultant

Experience needed :

- 3-12 years of experience in the sourcing/procurement domain

- A degree from a top tier university is mandatory

This is a contractual opportunity and will be on an initial 6-12 -month contract. This project necessitates travel to multiple locations - Jharsuguda, Udaipur, Barmer, Bombay and Delhi.
