Process Trainer - Oil & Gas Industry  Reports to: JC Dir. Sales Ops L3 (dotted line local AP L3)   Direct Reports :   Single contributor Competency Grouping   Job Purpose :   - The purpose of this role is to strategically coordinate and (as required) deploy the global training department's efforts within the Asia Pacific region.  - This will be completed by supporting local stakeholders across the business to understand their core business goals, identify key learning needs of employees through deploying current global training resources and strategic vision.  - All customer L&D initiatives developed should consider the perception of the company brand and aim to promote the advantages of using John Crane Asia Pacific as a partner.  - The job role will cover core regional customer training both scheduled and private, internal induction and product training, sales training and online training.  - Operate within approved budgets and assist with budget creation as required.  Key Responsibilities:  1) Local coordination/ deployment within Asia Pacific of John Crane's global training products and services.  2) Partner with key stakeholders within the Asia Pacific region to understand their core requirements and opportunities.  3) Collaborate with the Global training team to develop solutions for these requirements  4) Work to promote a consistent and accurate image of global training resources to ensure customers are aware of client products and services.  5) Demonstrate success by monitoring local training evaluation processes to show training's impact on the business  6) Report Regional L&D trends and assist in trialing new methods where appropriate  7) Manage the training budgets within the Asia Pacific region.  8) Ensure that regional Asia Pacific training center/s are well maintained and consistently used  9) Build relationships with client / subject matter experts to collaborate on coordination/development of training initiatives where needed  Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :  - Knowledge of a range of current training design, delivery and evaluation methods (including face-to-face, online and blended learning approaches)  - A deep technical understanding of John Crane's products and/or a comprehensive understanding of our industry  - Ability to communicate to a range of internal and external stakeholders  - Experience of line management duties  - Financial astuteness  - Excellent leadership qualities   - Proven ability to work in a team environment  Planning and Decision Making :  - Creation and management of objectives  - Preparation and ongoing administration of training cost centers within Asia Pacific  - Development & review of local training offering including schedules and costs  - Creation of regular progress reports
