Process Lead - Share Schemes - ESOP Management

Our client is a MNC operating in 180 countries. having their major back office operations in Malaysia. Client is looking for a Share Schemes Process Lead will join a new team to their Global team, solution driven focus. Based in Klang Valley, the role will work closely with the Global Share Schemes Manager to support the delivery of share awards through the use of centralised capabilities/services and globally standardised, best-practice processes.

The Share Scheme Process Lead is responsible for the day to day management and administration of the BAT Group's all employee and executive share schemes. Reporting into the London based Global Share Schemes Manager, this role will provide operational support to ensure the seamless delivery of shares awards in line with internal policies and external regulations. The role will work in close collaboration with the third party share plan administrator, Computershare, and a number of internal stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

- Manage the day-to-day administration and implementation of the Group's all employee and executive share scheme prog. This includes rams:

- Understands and correctly applies the rules of the schemes, ensuring guidance is provided to both internal and to third party service providers

- Act as the custodian of global definitions, standards, tools and templates for share schemes

- Act as a Centre of Expertise for share schemes issues and questions

- Ensuring proper processes are in place for the day-to-day share scheme administration, including leaver management and calculation of quarterly dividend payments

- Manages monthly reconciliation of data and produces relevant reports to Group Finance and Treasury

- Support annual cycle award grant and vest activities

- Drafting of share scheme documentation, including Employee Share Scheme Committee meeting minutes
