Prione Business Services Private Limited (affiliate of Amazon) works with Small & Medium Businesses (SMB) to enable their growth in the digital economy. It provides multiple products and services to retailers to scale their business.

As a - Regional Manager - Offline Scan & Pay - with Prione, you will have the exciting opportunity of scaling Amazon's presence in the offline payment acceptance domain. The role would require managing large in-house and off-rolls team to make Amazon Pay ubiquitous and commensurate with cash. Incumbent would also be required to partner with the marketing team in designing a plan to drive acquisitions and usage of the payment instrument in the offline market.

Ideal candidate will have 5+ year of sales experience with minimum 3 years of experience in managing large teams preferably in payment companies, telecom or FMCG. Candidate should be able to own the P&L for the region and takes decision regarding areas to invest and partners to work with independently. He/ She should possess understanding of local market and industry and should be able to define critical markets in the city/region and ensure high merchant density in those areas. He/ She should be comfortable interacting with and presenting ideas to internal leadership teams in Prione and Amazon

Roles & Responsibilities - 

- Understand the goals for offline - Scan and convert it into a robust execution plan with city specific actions for his region

- Manage merchant acquisition and retention goals for his region by root causing reasons for low conversion/attrition and addressing them through structured process

- Create city level execution plans and implementing them in partnership with the city head. Define channel and partner mix for his region depending on strength of the agency and their performance

- Take additional quality goals apart from acquisition like compliance, driving merchant density in critical markets, maintaining active merchant rate, defining incentive programs for FOS, and reducing variable cost of acquisition QoQ

- Identify marketing support required to scale acquisitions and drive GMV. Partner with Amazon teams to get the same executed

- Represent his region in Prione and Amazon Pay WBR. Appear in monthly reviews and represent his region with Prione and Amazon leadership

- Manage relationship with key stakeholders like Amazon & Prione leadership, Manpower agency regional leadership, Offline product and marketing teams

Prior Experience and skills - 

- MBA with experience of 5+ years in sales. Preferable to have experience in payments, telecom or FMCG industry

- 3+ experience of managing large sales and distribution teams

- Understanding of local market and experience with distribution

- Strong Communication and Negotiation Skills with a passion for sales

- Self-Motivated/Self Driven to manage entire business independently with less supervision

- Strong team player, acts like an owner, and ultimately focused on delivering results with high standards.

- Sharp, analytical, and thoughtful. Has sound judgment and ability solve on the spot.

- Highly Ethical and Compliance driven person
