Principle - Turnaround Strategy - Manufacturing Firm (7-15 yrs)

Job Description :

- Lead the entire turnaround of investee companies by working on areas of influence like plant productivity / efficiency, purchase and selling price benchmarking, logistics optimisation, optimisation of RM mix, study breakdown issues and plants and identify key repairs areas

- Develop, review, and validate cash flow, P&L, working capital for portfolio companies across industries, by analyzing and correlating key business drivers

- Understand entire procure to pay cycle, bill of materials, production and sale planning to build material requirement planning module to optimize working capital at company

- Understand the complete production / process flow chart, balance of plant, material flow etc., map capacity, identify debottlenecking opportunities

- Conduct regular reviews for detailed variance analysis, identify controllable vs. non-controllable factors across production processes, procurement planning, vendor management, supply chain efficiencies, sales, business development etc.

- Monitor capital expenditure / project, identify critical path, project crashing, ensure project completion on time and within budget

- Perform cost-benefit analysis of various capex / PI projects

- Analyse sales data, understand market trends, derive meaningful insights and provide valuable inputs

- Prepare monthly presentation to keep internal and external stakeholders updated on monthly performance review and turnaround progress update

- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel and Power Point. Ability to write macros / VBA script / Knowledge of power BI will be be desirable

- Excellent verbal as well as written communication skills

- Team leader

- Basic understanding of ERP like SAP, Oracle, Hyperion etc. will be a plus

- Ability to think out of the box / design thinking, analytical approach, ability to spot and solve problems

- Stakeholder management and people influencing skills

- Ability to synthesize the problem and break it down into simple manageable pieces
