Location : Mumbai

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Deal sourcing and end-to-end execution of transactions In the fund from Investment to monitoring to exit of deals.

- Deal Sourcing/Origination

- Developing and maintaining a network of relationships with banks, advisors, consultants to source relevant deals for the fund .

- Investment

- Identification / filtering of suitable proposals for the fund based on the investment strategy; Complete evaluation of the proposal including business model, past financials, projected financials, business prospects, industry, fit with fund investment requirements and any other relevant factors for evaluation;

- Identifying suitable transaction structures, vetting it with the legal team if required;

- Preparing term sheet, vetting it with the legal team if required

- Preparing IC memos

- Leading and coordinating external diligence exercise with appointed diligence agencies, advisor, prospective companies for efficient progress and closure;

- Working with legal counsel (Internal and external) for transaction documentation

- Working with both internal and external teams to achieve transaction closure

- Monitoring & Exit

- Put in place a detailed MIS for monitoring transactions;

- Analysis of the MIS monthly and highlighting key inferences, potential red flags, mitigation measures etc.

- Monitoring of collateral, cashflow escrow, covenants, other periodic disclosure / information requirements as per transaction documents and highlighting any areas of concern

Key Skills:

- Experience: 7 to 9 yrs of relevant experience

- Education: CA(First Attempt)

- Experience in private credit or private equity, either on the sell side or buy side.

- Expertise in Due Diligence, Valuations, IC Models, MIS
