Position: M&A - DD Principal from Core Financial Due Diligence

Job Description 

Asset Management and Investment Monitoring

- A good understanding of the general business and economic environment with a commercial outlook

- A critical, good and comprehensive understanding of Financial Data including reading and analysis of Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, P & L etc)

- Evaluating Business Models / Underwriting Models for businesses

- A critical, good and comprehensive understanding of Cash Flows and Cash Flow Statements

- A good grasp on excel based financial modeling

- An ability to create MIS and if provided with MIS understanding of the MIS and underlying data

- An ability to understand and comprehend legal documents (SPA / SHA / SSA) and investment structuring (meaning how the investments is structured)

- Knowledge about regulatory, legal and compliance guidelines (statutory guidelines, rules and regulations)

- Ability to work independently

- Goal driven, meaning should be focused on helping investors meet their asset management requirements by being able to answer queries asked by investors

- An ability to manage relationships with investee companies in order to obtain timely response on data as well as on queries raised

- Handle all critical issues arising from clients (investors) and assist them in resolving the issues.

- High problem-solving skills; ability to drive through to an outcome in circumstances of complexity and ambiguity

Required skills:

- Qualification - CA/CFA/MBA with 10 years of experience

- Looking for a candidate who have closed minimum 3-4 projects in Due diligence

- Good communication skills

- Good English Language Skill

- Knowledge about RE market and the market dynamics is an additional plus

- Financial Modelling

- Strong Power Point presentation skills
