Principal Mutual Fund - Head - Business Enablement Services (18-25 yrs)

Position Purpose: Enabling Principal India strategy by generating value through operational excellence, customer centricity, process focus, cost-efficiency opportunities and risk management across all PI India entities.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Scope of Operational Role : Work with Country Head - India and PI India Managing Directors (Asset Management Business, Advisory Business) to build a unified operational framework to support business objectives. Partner with the PI India entities on operational inputs, insights and strategic guidance on matters concerning risk management, operations, supporting functions etc. necessary to support the company's aggressive development and growth.

2. Corporate Governance & Risk : Support PI India businesses on building a robust corporate governance structure. Collaborate with PI India Managing Directors and their respective teams, as well as Principal Consulting employees to aggressively develop and grow our business while minimizing/mitigating major risk and the occurrence of or non-compliant matters that would negatively impact the company's development and hinder its ability to compete actively in the market.

3. Process Enablement and Continual Improvement : Work closely with the Corporate Management to develop and manage policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls necessary to support the business models. Enable systems, policies, infrastructure and initiatives with a focus on customer experience and continued development and enhancement of our digital business strategy.

4. Cost and Efficiency Management : Manage overall operational process and strategies to achieve corporate profitability. Develop and maintain timely, accurate and effective reporting and improve effectiveness of operations and procedures. Identify and implement opportunities for leveraging synergies and/or technology to deliver better value and efficiency.

5. People Management : Manage department heads in Business Operations, Contact Centre Management, Risk Management, Information Technology and Legal & Secretarial departments to provide strategic direction, advising key risk and operational issues and solve complicated problems. Provide leadership develop, coach and motivate staff in an environment that embraces empowerment and change; fosters focus, teamwork, efficiency, timeliness; and delivers on well-articulated and measurable objectives. Give timely and candid feedback and coaching to drive high performance and recognize and celebrate individual and team accomplishments.

6. Performance Accountability: Has overall accountability for performance/results of all the Consulting company departments and the staff performance in achieving the company objectives and key performance indicators

Role Requirements :

- 18 - 25 years of relevant experience with last 5 - 10 years in a Senior Managerial capacity having managed a corporate responsibility, with specific focus on strategic planning, customer centricity and operational efficiency.

- Must display aptitude to understand the - big picture- and align the business strategy to the same. Demonstrated execution skill and superior functional and people managerial skills are required, including the ability to articulate corporate vision, strategy and tactical plans to ensure all employees and business partners are aligned.

- Should have an extremely high process orientation with an understanding and capability of managing risk across PI India Operations. An ability to anticipate requirements and build processes, systems and technology to support short-term and long-term business objectives.

- Demonstrated experience in driving operational efficiencies with a proven track record of enabling change.

- Relationship building, collaboration and communication skills are a must. Knowledge of and ability to navigate local culture is important, along with knowledge of Principal's business culture and ability to build/sustain that culture in PI India companies.
