Principal Engineer

Location: Hyderabad

We are looking for bright and exceptional Principal Engineer to join our Test Engineering team. The candidate will be involved in building next-generation tools to meet the software testing needs of the firm and architecting solutions to support new technologies and business initiatives.

What you'll do:

- Create and review architectural decisions of testing tools and test automation projects

- Provide technology consultation and technical solutions for testing tools and test automation projects

- Create and Review high-level and low-level design of solutions

- Ensure compliance of non-functional attributes (stability, security, availability, performance, etc.) of the testing tools and test automation projects to internal standards

- Establish/Improve SDLC processes and ensure adherence

- Drive strategic initiatives aligning with the firm's technology vision

- Provide technical training and influence business/technical decisions

- Own and execute projects independently from an architectural standpoint

What you'll need:

- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or, an equivalent course)

- 8+ years of relevant experience in Java, Python or similar object-oriented language(s)

- Technical hands-on with building large-scale testing solutions with any of the object-oriented language(s)

- Experience in end-to-end execution of test automation projects

- Knowledge of design principles, fundamentals of architecture, quality processes and estimation techniques

- Understanding of relational and/or non-relation databases

- Experience with building testing tools that are highly available, scalable, and reliable on cloud platform

- Experience in trouble shooting and resolving challenges for existing testing tools/frameworks

- Experience with evaluation of open source frameworks, libraries, and tools

- Ability to implement user interfaces using web-technologies and frameworks is a good to have
