Principal - Data Science & Analytics - Big3 Consulting Firm (10-18 yrs)
We are seeking to identify a Consulting leader who specialises in data science, with strong business understanding and experience in large-scale problem solving and strategy creation using analytics.
The Role
- You will lead a team and work on complex business cases across a variety of industries, interacting directly with clients.
- Engagements will be large scale and complex and will involve the entire gamut of defining the problem statement, evolving the solution and running a robust validation process.
- This requires high-level technical capabilities, combined with keen problem-solving outlook and very strong communication skills.
Your Profile
- You must be an Engineer+MBA from premier institutions or a PhD/masters in a data centric discipline such as Computers, Maths, Statistics, Actuarial Science etc., from a top-tier institution and should have at 10 -15 years experience in analytics related to business issues.
- Hands-on consulting experience is essential.
- You should have core experience in synthesizing complex data along with understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical foundations, with an ablility to translate this into business impact.
- Strong knowledge of a scripting language such as R and Python is required. A past background in programming would be an asset.
