Principal Consultant/Senior Consultant - IT

Job Title: Sr. Consultant / Principal Consultant

Experience required: 8-12 Years

Location: Noida Sec, 62

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams

- Requirements Discussion with clients and Understand Client Objectives

- Elicit customer requirements using different tools like interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis and workflow analysis

- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details

- Translate customer requirements and business needs into application and operational requirements

- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: Business Requirements Document including process flows, wireframes etc.

- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs

- Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans

- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously

- Work independently with minimal or no supervision

- Engineering/consulting experience with a successful track record

- The ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Conduct Training for Clients / System Users

- Ready for Travel (Short Term and Long Term)

- Deep understanding of software development methodology

- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. JIRA, Timesheet Systems)

Skills Required:

- Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts

- BPMN Tool, MS Visio, Axure, Proto.io

- Proficiency in office tools (e.g. MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

- Consulting Exp is must

Type of candidate needed:

Candidates having following experience will be suitable:

1. 1. Development side + Business analyst + Project management Expos

OR

3 3. QA with Technical Background + Business Analyst Exp

Candidates from point#1 will be the ideal candidates

- Preferred technology Stack is Open Source, but other technology background candidates will be fine if willing to work in Open Source technology stack

- Experience with Overseas clients is must (preferred US and European Clients)

- Onsite exposure would be added advantage
