Primarc - Head - Contracts - Construction Projects (15-20 yrs)
Position: Head - Contracts
Qualification & Experience : B Tech - Civil with 15 years or Diploma with 20 years of experience.
Location: Kolkata
Field of Experience : Initial experience in construction projects (at least 5 to 7 years).
Experience in project planning, quantity survey, billing, contracts monitoring, tendering & contract award, negotiation with various vendors/contractors. Very good understanding of specification of various civil, finishing, plumbing, electro-mechanical items of work.
Thorough knowledge of standard contractual conditions of the contract. Exposure to written contractual communication. Understanding of costing in Real Estate projects is a must.
ERP knowledge is desirable.
Job Description:
1. Compiling the requirement of various contracts to be awarded for various projects in consultation with Project In-charge.
2. Vendor evaluation & shortlisting based on experience list.
3.Drafting of tender documents and arrange BOQ for the items from the project manager.
4. Inviting of the quotation from various vendors in the field; technical & commercial evaluation of offers received, comparison of the price quoted, arrange a discussion with them.
5. Participate in a techno-commercial discussion with contractors & finalization of a contractor in consultation with Project Head & Procurement Head.
6. Vendor development
