Pricing Implementation Analyst - Global Pricing Center of Excellence

- Implementing, setting up pricing for global customers. You will specialize in facilitating the deployment of global pricing across different Operating companies - this includes execution, testing, documentation, and optimizing contract administration pricing processes.

- This position is responsible for entering pricing discount and rates information into enterprise pricing systems, setting necessary parameters within the pricing systems and for auditing data entered. This position shares responsibility for planning, implementing pricing changes, and validating them for Pricing Contract administration.

- This role manages several pricing specific processes that support all global pricing and Operating companies. Working with key business partners (pricing, sales, legal, Audit, and Compliance) in effectively implementing customers pricing and discounting requirements, Planning, streamline pricing processes through optimization and automation helping manage costs and achieve efficiencies.

- Good people skills and collaborative approach will be required to achieve objectives for this role. The person should be comfortable communicating with the senior leadership team either at the local or global level; and be able to communicate fluently.

- The person should be able to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams, US and various regional pricing teams across the geographies to meet critical timelines for setting up pricing for the customers who have signed the pricing agreement with; while ensuring process compliance & meeting audit requirements. The person should have good exposure to commercial aspects of business, RFP & contract management, process management/ transformation, developing analytical solutions to business problems, reporting, MIS, creating business case/ presentations for executive management.

Commercial:

Pricing Request Administration:

- Work closely with sales and pricing personnel to setup and implement customer signed pricing agreement. Work closely with Legal, Audit, and Compliance teams to ensure that customers- pricing has been correctly setup in Pricing proprietary systems.

- Performing the setup, configuration and necessary data customization for pricing systems. Defines and executes on process delivery and implementation plans tests and troubleshoot final system setups

- Provides training and end-user support during and after the implementation process

- Governance: Develop policies & procedures for pricing requests administration (or Contract Administration). Develop adequate internal controls & compliance mechanismto ensure correctness and accuracy of customer signed Pricing information.

- Pricing models/ analysis: Good understanding on pricing models/ systems, revenue & cost structures, contribution & operating margins and P&L views; develop & enhance pricing models. Provide pricing recommendations to the commercial organization with supporting analysis

Stakeholder management:

- Manage, develop and sustain effective working relations with stakeholders; understands the roles of other functions and builds an effective network of contacts across key departments

- Ability to work interactively with sales teams and regional pricing teams across time zones for delegation, feedback and process approvals

- Take ownership and accountability for end-to-end deal execution; coordinate/ partner with cross-functional teams globally and ensure timely delivery of high quality outputs

- Customer-focused, ability to network & influence, and driven to achieve high quality results

- Excellent communication skills, able to communicate with people across all levels including senior management/ leadership

- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize & meet coinciding timelines for multiple business critical deliverables

- Takes accountability and responsibility for process implementation for pricing systems

Process optimization and automation:

- Identify process gaps and develop them into improvement opportunities; transform various business processes to enhance efficiency, productivity & customer experience

- Develop efficient processes & systems while ensuring internal controls & compliance

- Ensure adequate documentation of the as-is Contract\Pricing request administration processes. Ability to document process specifications/configurations/customizations for pricing systems.

- Good to have prior experience in User acceptance testing of tools and processes in any domain

Analytical solutions:

- Translate business needs into functional requirements for Pricing setup

- Good to have an understanding on agile framework, solution architectures, databases, PL/ SQL, Teradata and advanced Excel

- Identify relevant KPIs / metrics for business performance and develop dashboard/ reports

Project management:

- Excellent project management, multi-tasking and organizational skills

- Monitoring progress of key deliverables and milestones, ensure quick turnaround and meeting timelines

- Good to have an understanding on PMP framework, preparing Gantt charts &detailed project plans
