Urgent Hiring Pricing Analyst for Lastmile & Firstmile Logistics.

Job Description:-

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for analysing and maintaining customer pricing agreements in conjunction with other pricing programs, and developing pricing programs and strategies from research, data mining, statistical analysis, and program design. Additional duties include, but are not limited to:

Logistics Pricing Analyst - Essential Functions:

- Negotiate and apply costing and publish pricing to internal and external customers as requested.

- Develop costing and pricing models for First mile & Last Mile ( Including Linehaul - Air/Surface ) based on off market conditions and trends. This will be done by using both historical data and market intelligence.

- Support sales staff by negotiating with customers to secure additional opportunities.

- Manage pricing databases against standards set by management.

- Ensure customer satisfaction through continuous measurement of turnaround times on rate requests.

- Manage low margin lanes and customers and develop a strategic plan to increase the profitability of these opportunities.

- Analyze and implement product agreement process thru the life of the contract.

- Works independently using analytical skills to determine the correct process to build accurate pricing for each unique price agreement.

- Communicate customer agreement status to customers, sales, and service.

- Manage annual price increase process for discounts and agreements.

- Develop pricing programs and strategies from research, statistical analysis and program design.

- Understands the complexities of different pricing structures and continuously look for opportunities to improve processes: Product hierarchies, Customer price groups, Customer hierarchies.

- Provide costing, pricing, margin analysis for Product Managers.

Qualifications

Logistics Pricing Analyst - Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree with emphasis in business, accounting, or data analysis.

- 3 - 5 years with pricing and analytical experience.

- Familiarity with logistics/transportation/Linehaul/First mile/Last Mile processes and practices. Complete understanding of pricing.

- Strong Excel skills (formulas, lookups).

- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills required.

- Must be a self-starter, and have the ability to communicate and interface effectively with all levels of the organization, its customers and vendors in a manner that consistently produces results.
