Pricing Analyst - Healthcare Manufacturer (4-12 yrs)

- Manage day to day pricing operations and align within competitive landscape to effectively penetrate market

- Advise business teams of products posting loss or negative margins where immediate action must be taken

- Monitor competitor's products, promos, and present to commercial teams to take corrective action by aligning with competitors trends

- Oversee and apply all updates to prices, markdowns, coupons, and promotional prices within system

- Communicate daily with team leaders concerning daily pricing updates, pricing discrepancies

- Successfully manage, coach and develop business teams

- Drive pricing process excellence within department (productivity, consistent methodologies and skill development) through the implementation of continuous improvements

- Streamline the entire proposal process resulting in on time delivery of proposals to the customer

- Develop various pricing and financial models

- Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews on margin reports, and track the affect of any changes on sales and margin within each regions

- Provide on- going training with the sales representatives, educate them on system operation, price updates and proper pricing techniques

- Solely develop and maintain database to retain pricing reports and record company sales trends

- Regularly analyze existing and proposed rates to develop actionable pricing model

- Provided service and support to the pricing department, business units and divisions with ad hoc and routine reports that enabled good business decision making

- Advise on decisions to move forward with new product launches and features, prototype feasibility, and approval of production processes

- Manage focus accounts through the use of information gathering, financial analysis, and solution generation

- Create a workflow process instruction guide to expedite the process

- Review, analyze and negotiate proposed pricing contracts with the sales force based on the competitive platform

- Presented every price with detailed assumptions to cross functional teams for review and approval
