President - Research & Development - Specialty Chemicals

- This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the R&D and Quality functions

- The role is to lead the technical domain across areas like - Nucleosides Chemistry, Custom Synthesis, etc

Client Details :

The client is a part of a huge conglomerate having diversified businesses. The client is a reputed growing firm known for its work in Nucleosides and Specialty Chemicals products. The client offers capabilities in research, process development and large scale manufacturing.

Description :

- The major responsibility will be to drive the vision for the organisation from an R&D standpoint.

- The leader will have to drive the strategic projects as well as propose and execute newer technologies.

- The candidate is expected to drive the best practices from the industry and develop the overall brand image of the organisation.

Profile :

- The candidate must posses 20 years' experience with CDMOs, CROs or API pharmaceuticals in the capacity of an R&D leader

- The candidate should be a PhD in Organic Chemistry or a Post Doc from reputed organisation.

- The candidate should preferably have an understanding of Nucleosides, Peptides, etc.

- The candidate must have the right leadership skills in leading and driving the R&D function for the organisation.
