Our Client is a A Group engaged in Generation, Transmission and Distribution of Power (Current power generating portfolio of both Thermal and Wind Power).

Please find the JD for the Regulatory Head position below.

We are looking for a profile with atleast Fifteen Years in Working Experience with Power Sector Preferably in Commercial and Regulatory Matters. Knowledge of Regulations and Practical Experience in Working with Regulators. Knowledge of Accounts and Technical Matters of the Power Industry (both Generations and Distribution). Knowledge of Regulations Issued By the Regulators in the Country. Knowledge of Cerc Regulations.

Role :

- Manage, create and submit all required ongoing state and central regulatory filings

- Monitor regulatory changes and shifts within markets and translate into business response and strategies to accommodate regulatory shifts

- Petition before the Regulator

- Drafting of PPA

- Interpretation of Regulations issued by the Regulator and its effect on business

- Analysis of Tariff issued by the various regulators in India

- Tariff Model creation

- Tariff Application filing

- Annual Performance Review filing

- Answering the queries of the Regulators

- Attend Appellate Tribunal and CERC Hearing

- Assist Lawyers at the time of appearing before the Tribunal

- Assist Lawyer in hearing before CERC

- Periodic review of core operational processes to ensure compliance with state and central regulations.
