President - Operations - Leadership Role (Top 5 in the company) - IIT/IIM (8-10 yrs) About the company : - We are hiring for one of India's fastest growing venture backed SaaS (Software as a Service) startup with clients in over 20+ countries. - Series B funded. Backed both by prominent VC funds as well as marquee angel investors - Client base of 500+ corporates spread over 20+ countries - Grown exponentially since it was founded five years back in 2013. More than 600 professionals working with the company on a full-time basis Position : - We are looking for a motivated and self-driven individual to join us as President, Operations - This is a leadership role. You will be one of the top 5 people in the company - You will directly report to the founder - You will own at least two departments. For ex: Marketing & Customer Success - You will take direct reporting of 2-3 VPs, who manage different functions - You would be leading a team of of 30+ people over a period of time - You should be flexible to own any department based on criticality of the function for the company Key Responsibilities : Strategy/Direction: - Define goals for your departments. - Find & evaluate multiple ways which leads to the goal - Chose most optimal path which lead to highest returns in long term. - Take feedback from stakeholders & onboard them about the plan Blueprint: - Help VPs in identifying basic building blocks required to achieve the goals of the departments - Figure out missing pieces in department blueprint which will drive next level of growth - Seek input from peers to iterate. Present the blueprint to the founder to get them on-board Projects/Initiatives: - Review projects presented by VP and train them on accuracy, efficiency and scalability - Brainstorm on priority of projects based on impact and effort required Overall Department Operation Review - Be on top of key metrics of the department. Define new initiatives to improve them Team Management : - Conduct 1-on-1s with Heads of your Departments on a daily basis - Provide mentorship and constructive feedback. Incorporate company's culture of continuous improvement - Identify training needs of each person to reach their peak potential. Employ different training and mentoring methods for different team members, as needed - Define - Who To Hire- for different positions including work profile & experience, education and salary benchmarks - Responsible for performance management within the team including appraisals, monthly ratings, discipline, etc Requirement: - Top-notch academics from a Tier 1 college (IIM / IIT) - 8 -10 years of work experience - Strong team player. Keen interest in mentoring and grooming team members - Self Motivated. High intent of getting things done - Strive for excellence. Strong commitment to improve things every day - Ability to take decision based on sound logical arguments.
