We are looking out for Lead consultants- security for a very reputed company in Mumbai.

The incumbent will be:

Handling Security solution consulting and business development. Acquire professional services business and work with the sales team to meet Client's Security requirements and expectations. Key role would be to engage with high touch clients and foster the relationship to improve the security penetration through trusted consulting

Main responsibilities:

- Handle technical and business impacting aspects of all security related technology in our product portfolio from firewalls, VPNs, Intrusion Management Framework, SOC, Gateways, Managed Services, standalone services etc.

- Combine all the Dimension Data consulting, products and services into solutions sales for specific customer requirements.

- Provide technical, solutions and requirements analysis by consulting for a fee.

- Handle Sales Challenges and objection handling

- Foster existing clients with trusted advisory role and improve the security and other solution penetration

- Whilst this resource should provide a presales support capability, he is actively responsible for customer demand creation and being able to bring that back into DD to create sales pipeline.

- Should be viewed as the "Expert" for all security technology and solutions issues.

- Should be able to sell and deliver on Assessment and other tools based surveyors.

- Will work with the Practice Head to compile go-to-market solutions for respective regions.

- Will evaluate new and emerging solutions with the global community for inclusion in portfolio of DD products and services.

- Work towards introducing emerging technology and solution offerings, developed in DD methodologies

- Work within a team demonstrating the core values of Dimension Data

Supporting responsibilities:

- Should support in educating and strengthening the sales and other functions with relevant education to promote security practice within the organization

Qualification: B.E/ B. Tech, Other with IT

Experience:

- Should have minimum of over 10 - 12 years of experience in IT networking and security consulting.

- Experience of at least 4 - 5 year in security solutions and services is a must.

- Overall IT understanding

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

- Professional Services back ground

- Certifications in CISA/CISSP or BS7799 is must

- Should also have product certifications like CCNA, CCSE and others

- Should be well versed with operating systems like Microsoft Windows and Unix Flavors

- Should have pre-sales and project management skills in addition to good written communication.
