Presales Consultant - IT Firm

Role : Pre-Sales Consultany

Reporting To : Head - Data Practice

We are looking for a Presales consultant who will be the vital link between information technology capacity and our business objectives by supporting business requirement gathering, ensuring the successful understanding and implementation of analytics solutions.

This person will be working with the clients to help understand the key stakeholders- value of data and analytics and work with them to identify projects and use cases. He will further partner with the internal team to build the solution and deliver it.

The person should have strong understanding of business domain and excellent business communication and presentation skills. Domains - B2B, Manufacturing, Industrial will be key.

A person who has a business orientation mindset/ understands analytics tools and techiniques and can translate business problems into workable requirements across data analytics, visualization.

He/She need to work independently with the client (multiple stakeholders) to diagnose and define business needs and managing customer expectations.

Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve, monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer

As a Presales Consultant, you will be

- Responsible for defining and managing analytics requirements specification.

- Get the business intent of analytical solution clarified to development team and address any requirement related questions or concerns

- Get analytics solution data mapping and user interface specifications defined

- Verify the analytics outcome for correctness

- User training and educations

- Communicate key insights and findings to business and solution teams and manage stakeholders expectations

- Define reporting and alerting requirements

- Own and develop relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance analytics integration experience

- Help design, document and maintain system process

Ideal Candidate

- Should have bachelor degree in engineering and MBA from reputed college or university

- Proven experience in eliciting requirements and documenting the same

- Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.

- Good knowledge in generating process documentation

- Domain knowledge in finance, Sales, Procurements and HR subject areas

- Should have worked for 3-5 business solutions for solving business problems using data and analytics.

- Experience in business analytics consulting is a must.

Domain Knowledge in manufacturing will be an added advantage

- Strong understanding of Finance, balance sheets, supply chain, manufacturing concepts and business processes.

- Worked in / with analytics teams to build and deploy analytics solutions to solve for business problems.

- Hands on experience with analytics tools and techiniques like regression, clustering, KNN, GBM.

- SQL, R and data analysis tools
