Senior Manager - Business Development


- Praxia is a tech enabled Indirect spend Group Purchasing Organisation that acts as a one stop shop to businesses for all their indirect spend needs such as laptops, office and warehouse supplies, packaging etc. The long term vision is to build deep capabilities in the aforementioned categories solving for customer purchase, post purchase and service experience.

- On the platform, businesses utilise their combined purchasing power across categories to get better pricing, access to credit and convenience of a single supplier (Praxia). Further, strategic sourcing enables vendors to maximise earnings, rotate inventory and extend their business line.

- Praxia is trusted by fast growing start-ups such as Fashinza, 1k Kirana, No Broker, Blu Smart, etc for their procurement needs. It is backed by leading investors and is well on the journey of 0 to 1. The founding team is IIM Ahmedabad and FMS Delhi alumni, and have worked in organisations such as PwC, Unilever, OfBusiness, UC & Amazon.

Job Description:

We are growing at 40% month on month, and are looking to add high quality sales professionals to enable us to further scale up. The role entails driving growth across categories by onboarding medium enterprises and start-ups and ensuring coordination on deals from start to finish.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

1. Work with Sales Head in developing and implementing sales plans & strategies to mine incremental revenue from existing customers.

2. Position effectively to win additional revenue from existing customers through strategic business expansion and re-orders

3. Collaborate with supply teams to deliver committed results for our customers

4. Build strong relationships with customers and so that they can propagate Praxia further

5. Chase new sales opportunities through outbound emails/cold calls/warm calls on a daily basis

6. Constantly track impact metrics and ensure accuracy of data on the CRM given point in time

Requirements:

- B. Tech/BBA, MBA - Preferred

- Comfortable with flexible work timings and travel

- Excellent negotiation, communication, time management and organisational skills

- Preference will be given to people having exposure to working in B2B Procurement, IT/ITes, Shared Services etc. Experience with enterprise sales is a plus

- Proven ability to understand customer pain points and proposing solutions

- Proven ability to work and effectively communicate with C-level executives and line of business representatives

- Track record of driving results under minimal supervision. Experience building a vertical/new business is a plus

- Past experience of working in startups would be a plus
