Job Role

Head of Finance is accountable for accurate reporting of financial results and managing the company's & it's subsidiary's legal, financial & compliance affairs. This role will form the central strategic resource that will develop an organizational strategy and who can deliver timely information and manage all statutory, legal compliance, related financial transactions, taxation and budgets in a cost effective, reliable and comprehensive manner. He /she will lead the entire accounts and finance team in strategic decision making and policy formation in order to maintain a high performing department and build a high-achieving team.

Job Description:

- To identify best practices in all aspects of the work and translate this into high quality governance and processes for the organization.

- To develop F&A policies for the Organization that are robust, secure, sustainable and efficient

- To streamline processes and practices so that there is greater efficiency and less possibility of error, controls and governance in place

- Ability to channelize internal and external resources for delivery of work

- To work with Big-4 Auditors and successfully complete statutory audits

- To work with Government agencies to resolve issues and to proactively identify and streamline statutory obligations

- To Support Founders in pitching for investment by external parties

- Get the right advisories, evaluate all transactions holistically and execute in most optimum and compliant manner

- Set up and maintain Accounting & Compliances of subsidiaries of Intello Labs

- Maintain and evolve a complex financial model that governs Company's operating plan and long-range projections including detailed analysis to support those projections

- Manage annual strategic planning and budgeting processes along with monthly forecasting and flash reporting, clearly outlining key assumptions and continuously improving forecast accuracy

- Lead management reporting, including monthly financial packages used internally and for the Board

- Identify and monitor significant business trends and variances, including revenue, expenses, headcount, balance sheet, and cash flow items

- Supervise the Budget vs. Actual for each division and department across company with proper trail at GL, Cost Center and Profit Center levels

- Proactively inform leadership of any observations and provide insightful suggestions for improvement

- Create ad-hoc analyses to drive business strategy, improve efficiency, and maximize ROI, create visibility

- Identify and execute on process and tool improvements to improve team effectiveness

- Lead the Cost efficiency initiatives for the Company

- Strong leadership and mentorship skills: demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity

- Budgeting and forecasting experience

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

- Highly motivated and willing to take on multiple responsibilities at once

- Must have relevant exposure of handing an F&A team end to end with a strong hand at Finance Business Partnering and global stakeholder management.

- Commands respect and engagement of Senior Leadership team

- Ability to aggregate and synthesize results, consolidation into themes that help drive the business

- Candidates having earlier work experience with startups will be an added advantage
