Job Description / Responsibilities-

The vacancy is for the position of AM, Management Consulting. Nature of projects done in Management Consulting are:

- Process & internal controls consulting

- Supply chain efficiency

- ERP & process implementation

- Working capital optimization

- Cost optimization

- Sales & profit improvement

- Business strategy

- Organization structuring

- Performance management systems, etc.

The AM will lead client team(s) for the above types of projects. His role would include:

- Lead teams of 2-8 members in performing the above projects for clients

- Prepare for & lead reviews with client CEOs & other senior management

- Meet client employees in different departments & levels to enable effective implementation of suggested processes &solutions

- Meet with business owners to understand and assess operational needs as well as technical requirements.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, etc.

- Train in-house talent to acquire consulting skill-sets

- Provide practical solutions to business problems by identifying gaps and inefficiencies in current working

Min Exp- 1-2 years

Qualities expected

- Understanding of internal controls, ERP & business processes

- Great problem-solving skills & communication (English compulsory; Tamil preferable)

- Has led teams & is driven to work independently

Qualification

- MBAs with engineering experience, preferable

- CA Final/Inter with audit experience

Preferred prior experience

- Experience in process & supply chain consulting

- Employees from management consulting depts. of firms such as Big 4, PKF S&S, Grand Thornton, etc.

- MBA students (students from Tier 1&2 colleges or toppers from Tier 3 colleges) with deep interest in operations & process consulting

- Engineering students from IIT/NIT with interest in operations & process consulting

- Employees of reputed audit firms wishing to make a career shift into management consulting

- Business analyst from IT companies with operations/finance experience

- Senior employees from retail companies with supply chain, ERP, merchandise planning, store managing experience

- Senior employees from manufacturing companies (Plant managers, senior production supervisors, etc.)

- Experience in ERP implementation on SAP or other smaller softwares
