Practo's is looking for a product designer for our largest business unit. You will be working as an individual contributor in collaboration with other designers. In this role, we expect you to be a clear communicator, Collaborative, End to end product designer, a design owner and have strong UX and visual design skills. Your goal will be to execute impactful UX designs by following the internal design process. RESPONSIBILITIES : - Own the design of the product rather than work based on request based designs. Own the design of the product from start to end and keep nurturing it with post-release tracking data. - Stress on Why What How as a product design process/philosophy to arrive to an intuitive UX solution. Work with the product team to understand the requirements and think about why it is important and how it will impact the product in terms of business & user gains in a long run before going to design the interface. Be always on top of the tracked numbers through tracker software for impact and performance and past numbers which helps in taking decision while designing. - Goal-based design solutions which should be tracked for impact in terms of different product matrices. - Maintain the consistency of the product with other Practo products in terms of one design language according to established style guide & design system, interaction and behaviours. - Think of an entire IA and ecosystem of the product while designing something new for its scalability & sustainability. - Own quality shipping with consistent behaviour like other Practo products - Collaboration and teamwork (within design, product and engineering) is the key to product success, should be open for multilevel feedback to make the product better and consistent. - Should be proficient in Sketch. - Able to judge and communicate the design costing based on requirements and stick to the proposed delivery timeline REQUIREMENTS - Product Designer: 1-3 years of relevant hands-on experience as a product designer(UX) - Portfolio is must - Proven portfolio as a Product Designer. - Very good communication skills and adaptive attitude - Deep knowledge of the design process and attention to detail. - Problem-solving and analytical skills. - Masters / Post-Graduate / Graduate in UX/UI design from NID / IIT./Any other design institutes
