About the job :
- We are looking forward to hire Seasoned Engineering IT professionals at the level of Competency / Practice Manager. In this role, we are looking to hire professionals who thrive on challenges and desires to make a real difference in the cutting[1]edge digital transformation business.
- 12+ years of experience in building teams with Embedded Systems, IoT and possibly Factory Automation background. Equally considered will be 5+ years of experience driving digital transformation.
- Should have experience in a resource management role.
- Abilities needed to execute job duties, such as project management, Resources Allocation and Management, Resource Forecasting, Skillset requirement, defining learning journey and certifications, reskilling strategy, etc.
- Experience on handling project development and preferably end to end solution.
- Should be conversant with Embedded System (Automotive, Medical Devices, Industrial Products, Industrial Automation), IoT, Factory Automation (Process Industry, Discrete Mfg, Process Mfg).
- Should possess excellent communication skills, an attitude to get things done, and a willingness to work in a high-growth environment.
- Should be able to build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Should be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
- Willing to travel - as much required
Desirable Skills :
- Should possess good communication skills to be able to communicate to the all stakeholders.
- Demonstrated the Ability to train/mentor/guide the team on implementation aspects.
- Possess appetite and aptitude for owning responsibility of technical decisions and direction for project/module.
- Experience in the end-to-end project and solution development is desired.
- Multi-group coordination for solution development and deployment.
- Knowledge of IoT, Cloud and Embedded systems and devices terminology preferred.
- Exposure to Agile methodology is advantage.
Responsibilities :
- Cultivate strong relationships with delivery leadership to plan and forecast resource needs (demand generation and draw blueprint to maintain the delivery pool of resources.
- Understand sales opportunities, proactively identify ways, and means to have the right resources.
- Own Resource fulfillment metrics for Embedded System, Factory Automation, IoT Competency unit.
- Ready to meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of the Company's relationship with them.
- Manage a team of resource managers. People Management
- As a thought leader effectively communicate the Embedded System, Factory Automation, IoT Competency unit's goals to every level and align their performance.
- Work with Architect's team to identify for quarterly learning goals and implement across all levels.
- Own the Embedded System, Factory Automation, IoT competency certification goals and drive the team members to meet the goals.
- Establish continuous communication (bi-directional) with the team members.
- Prepare and implement the mentoring framework at all levels to align the team members' aspiration goals with the Embedded System, Factory Automation, IoT Competency unit and goals.
- Be the champion of performance management by metrics to identity right talent for rightful compensation and benefits.
- People retention by proactive scanning of the people risks, work with the "high-risk" employees and retain.
- Be on top of industry people's compensation and benefits and work with HR teams to influence course correction to our policies.
Leadership And Process Excellence :
- Act as a thought leader in defining success criteria and understand business needs of customers in an ever-changing business environment.
- Contribute to and leads strategic plans and documents.
- Partner with diverse teams of Account managers, external vendors, Talent Acquisition and Resource fulfilment teams.
- Establish collaborative relationships and maintain close communication with the senior management team, as well as with other key internal stakeholders to identify potential opportunities and ensure alignment on current projects.
- Implement a strategic business and commercial plan that helps to increase customer base and ensure its strong presence.
