Position : Practice Leader - Cloud

Role Summary :

- We are looking for a Practice Leader-Cloud, who will build and grow the Cloud Practice for our Client.

- The individual will be an experienced and motivated technologists who possesses a unique balance of technical depth, strong interpersonal, and business acumen to drive our new cloud business.

- The individual should demonstrate thought leadership in Cloud Solutions Offerings

Essential Responsibilities :

- Build and Lead Cloud Practice.

- Manage the P&L and is accountable for driving the Revenue Growth

- Build capabilities, offerings, service accelerators and differentiators

- Build a go-to-market strategy that highlights our cloud offerings that best supports our customers' challenges.

- Lead and successfully deliver Cloud projects

- Will own the technical delivery, ultimate success and delivery excellence in all cloud projects

- Stakeholders & Expectations management

- Work with clients to design their cloud environment

- Deliver cloud design, migration, and ongoing managed services

- Responsible for delivering solutions architecture for major clients.

- Manage risks

- Client Relationship Management (both pre-sales & post-sales)

- Be client CIO's trusted advisor

- Client delight

- Ensure client delight

- Ensure referenceable clients

- Through use of IPs, automation and use of right skills mix improve project and account profitability

- Presales and Alliance

- Pre-sales / post-sales (play an active role in winning business)

- Build and grow relationships with AWS and alliance partners to expand our relationship, offerings, and revenues.

- Build relationships with key client decision makers and influences in partnership with sales and marketing

- Manage and deliver superior value in Key Accounts

- Deliver superior value

- Be CIO's trusted advisor

- Grow business in each account by minimum 30% on year-on-year basis

- Improve account profitability on year-on-year basis

- Enable teams to deliver better value in projects

- Conduct project reviews

- Go to person for technical or for managing risk in all projects

- Innovation and Thought leadership

- Demonstrate thought leadership by bringing out white papers, blogs, presentations, and collaterals.

- Automate work delivery and Build Ips

- Coaching & Mentoring

- Provide team a clear direction. Should be hands on.

- Takes ownership for building capability in the organization by effective coaching and

- mentoring to move others to a higher level of working.

- Improve architecture skills across all team members

Experience : 12 to 16 years

Qualification : BE / B Tech or any equivalent graduate

Skills & Experience :

- Strong understanding of application architecture patterns and practices (Mandatory).

- Experience in reviewing and improving application architecture on microservices. (Mandatory).

- Expertise in cloud solutions across cloud platforms. Enterprise experience on AWS Cloud

Platform is a must.

- Expertise in designing high-level, enterprise grade solution architecture.

- At least 8 years of relevant experience as a Senior Architect or Team lead.

- At least 3 years' experience in all aspects of cloud computing

- At least 5 years' experience with technical delivery

- At least 2 years of Practice/Team management (responsible for team growth).

- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

- Experience on agile software development methodologies

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Ability to manage estimates, tasks, escalations, risks/issues

- AWS Certified Solution Architect - professional certification

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with AWS Cloud services and architecture, including EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, Auto Scaling, and CloudFormation

- A portfolio of relevant publications and conference presentations

- Experience with DevOps practices on AWS Cloud
