Senior Manager – Risk Management

Location : Mumbai

Experience : 10-16 Yrs

Salary : 60-80 LPA

Qualification : MBA Tier Institute only/ CA

Objective

- A leading management consultancy firm seeks an experienced and accomplished Risk Management professional with significant experience in risk consulting and sound understanding of Financial Services risk management principles and practice

Key Responsibilities

1. Advise clients on a wide range of risk management issues like Strategy & Governance, Process Excellence & Integration, Regulatory Reform and Performance Insight & Execution.

2. Lead consultant teams to solution, scope and deliver on client assignment primarily focused on India domestic business.

3. Lead client relationship development, business development and creation of pipeline of opportunities with financial services clients in India.

4. Develop thought capital around current and emerging risk management topics and contribute to development of Points-of-View on Risk trends and issues.

5. Help build risk practice by recruiting, training and nurturing talent on a range of risk related skill sets.

Experience Required

1. At least ten years risk management experience at a Financial Services institution (Retail Lender or Commercial bank), Rating Agency or Professional Services / Risk Advisory with significant exposure to one or more of the following areas:

- Credit and Counterparty Risk

- Market Risk

- AMA modeling/ Operation Risk identification and measurement

- Risk Regulation & Compliance

- Risk Governance, Strategy and Policy

- Functional design and database modeling for risk management systems and applications

2. Familiarity with lending products and/or financial instruments across equity, fixed income, derivatives and securitization space

3. Strong understanding of RBI regulatory framework. Knowledge of Basel II/ III principles and practice, ICAAP etc.

4. Experience in latest risk technologies like Moody’s Risk Analyst, Bancware, SAS Risk Solutions, QRM, KMV Portfolio Manager, Risk Calc etc.

5. Experience in third party risk consulting is required.

Other Requirements

1. Masters in Business Administration with specialization in risk.

2. Strong project management skills and demonstrated experience in managing cross functional teams.

3. Strong network of relationships with senior financial services clients.

4. Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time

5. Strong academic background. Industry certifications such as FRM, PRM, CFA preferred

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
