They are consultants who command respect as thought leaders both within Tata Strategic and in industry circles. PHs are responsible for developing the Practice under their charge in line with the overall business and strategic vision of Tata Strategic. In the role of Practice Head, a person is required to direct important client engagements and ensure that projects are aligned to the client's goals and agenda. PHs also drive the area of knowledge management in their respective Practices and ensure company-wide sharing of insights gained from research and projects. They play a key role in enhancing the business capabilities of Tata Strategic and generating ideas and opportunities for growth. Principal - The Principal's role is one of the most varied and critical one in the consulting space. - The Principal's role requires the incumbent to have an eye for detail as well as the ability to visualize the larger picture. - This role largely involves providing thought leadership, conceptualizing frameworks, generating ideas and guiding project teams on research and analysis. Principals also play a key role in directing client engagements and business development. - All Principal are required to play a significant managerial role within Tata Strategic as they are responsible for people development and adherence to organization processes, company values and cultural norms. - The overall design of the role is not restricted to consulting and provides Principals with the opportunity to develop general management skills.
