Job Description - 

As Practice Head, you will be responsible for owning and building the company's Data Engineering Services Practice. The role requires you to lead a team of data consultants with varied experience and exposure to the data world and help scale their capabilities and therefore service levels. You will work closely with various team members to enable successful project deliveries, GTM (Go-to-Market) Solutions and futuristic POC's (Proof of Concept). You will be working with a diverse set of senior stakeholders in our core business. You will develop a deep understanding of company's business,leadership, and presentation skills, and gain exposure to a wide variety of functional teams within the company and set in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Roles and Responsibilities - 

- Experience in architecting and building data lakes, data warehouses (cloud), master data management, data modelling, data quality assessment and other related areas as a part of data engineering

- Preferred experience in running a P&L as this is expected to be a profit centre and requires proven competence in building plans and budgets for investments and running the practice

- Setup best practices and standards, drive the practice with a clear technology roadmap that factors emerging trends and future evolution

- Establish a CoE (Centre of Excellence) within the practice to build solutions and POC's from a GTM perspective

- Lead, manage and mentor the team of data consultants to achieve organizational objectives

- Identify training needs and enablers to drive a best in class service offering

- Work closely with the sales team on proposals, solutions and strategies to meet performance targets that are aligned to GainInsights performance targets

- Work closely with marketing to build collateral and interface with recruitment teams to help identify and recruit the right talent to scale the practice and thereon the service

- Partner with OEM Team to work on customer use cases

- Work closely with the Sales, PreSales and Customer teams to deliver successful projects

Basic Qualifications: B.E. / M.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech

- Customer facing / On-site experience

- Deep understanding of data / information world

- Good understanding / work experience on Data Architecture, Modelling and Transformation.

- Expertise on data handling at various scales & BI
