Practice Head - Cloud Infrastructure - Data Center - IT

1. Responsible for practice leadership across the data center and cloud infrastructure practice towers - service strategy, service offerings, delivery capability and talent strategy

2. The leader is expected to play a technology leadership role and develop specialists and architects in each technology area. The practices are expected to solution, scope, size and deliver consulting and infrastructure transformation projects to clients in respective technologies.

3. S/he will draw up the strategic and operating plan for the practices, including deep technical support to delivery, capability building, technology alliances (including non-traditional next-gen tech alliances), technology solutions, setting up POC/demos. S/he will also develop and maintain contacts with technology analysts and provide thought leadership on technology trends in respective areas in internal and external forums.

4. Build differentiated, innovative service offerings using best in class technology options, to stay ahead of competition

5. Significant expertise and experience in pre-sales activity - winning proposals, technical solutions, cost estimation and risk management related to data center management, data center transformation, cloud consulting, migration and management as part of larger Infrastructure outsourcing opportunities.

6. The Practice will also provide deep technical support to ongoing delivery engagements in a structured manner - this includes assessments of client estate in ongoing - BAU support- engagements and undertake transformation consulting for these clients, as well as technology expertise to support ongoing delivery teams in times of crisis.

Desired Profile :

This is a key leadership position reporting to the Global Head - IS delivery, and part of the senior leadership team of Infrastructure Services business. The successful candidate would be a proven leader who is self-driven and has a demonstrated track record in leading similar infrastructure practices.

- The Incumbent should have played a practice building and management role in one or more infra practices, preferably related to Data Centers/Cloud. Experience leading delivery for large, global clients in a delivery head position, interfacing with senior client stakeholders directly would be an added advantage.

- Demonstrated new offerings, initiatives, tools and technology led innovation and transformation led growth in a competitive IT services environment would be a pre requisite. Direct experience leading large, transformation projects for global enterprises would be highly desirable.

- Experience and proven credentials building and deploying Cloud solutions using AWS and MS Azure at a minimum, is a key requirement. Experience with open source technologies, DevOps, IaaS, PaaS to help create next gen cloud solutions for clients will be an added advantage.

- Strong track record of revenue and cost management and efficient utilization of budgets in a large scale infrastructure services operation
