KNAV & Co, Chartered Accountants :

- We are inviting an outstanding professional, a Chartered Accountant, with relevant experience to lead as Practice Director of International Assurance & Accounting Advisory Services at our Mumbai office.

- Together with our professional team, this individual will be handling India audit and accounting advisory engagements which may cover varied industries.

- Our portfolio of clients might be local and foreign companies and would include SMEs, MNCs, and listed companies. Candidates with experience in operational, financial and management review, as well as the ability to provide sound recommendation of management actions based on insightful analysis, will be ideal. The role is front facing and also involves knowledge sharing in India about the global audit solution that KNAV provides through its independently owned licensed audit firms in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Netherlands and Singapore. KNAV is a strong proponent of the use of technology in its global audit delivery. Candidate will benefit from working on the latest audit artificial intelligence tool, using digital workmates in audit procedures and cloud based audit and analytics software.

Responsibilities :

- Responsible for leading a team of Managers/Associates.

- Provide India audit and accounting advisory services to a portfolio of diversified clients.

- Overseeing proper execution of external audit, corporate governance, compliance, enterprise risk assessment projects, including planning, fieldwork and reviews.

- Develop and lead a team of audit staff and compliance professionals as a part of a global audit delivery model.

- Mentor and provide technical guidance to staff on IndAS, US GAAP and IFRS.

- Achieve team and individual budgets and business plan/ performance objectives.

- Manage project financials, including budgets, WIP, timely billing and collection and variance recognition.

- Maintain the highest technical and professional standards.

- Carry out practice management activities e.g. resourcing, scheduling, client billing etc.

- Undertake wider office activities, as required.

- Take a leadership role in professional, business or community organizations.

Requirements:

- Professional chartered accounting qualification, practicing member of the ICAI.

- Minimum 8 years relevant experience with large/mid-tier international and regional accounting firms.

- Strong technical (accounting/auditing standards and related tax regulations) & interpersonal skills.

- Excellent communication and networking skills.

- Possess initiative and an analytical mind.

- Ability to lead a team of like-minded professionals.
