About Till & Aisle Technology :

Till and Aisle Technology Pvt. Ltd. Is engaging with retailer to build a data model that uses sales and purchase transactional data, to deliver insights to FMGC brands and sales teams. This model is extremely unique and fills a very large, unaddressed gap on transactional analytics related to FMCG sales. The current reliance for companies is solely Nielsen reports which are at a gross level and have no transactional insights.

Additionally, the project works with retailers in improving their own performance and profitability through better management of inventory and POS hygiene. We are tying up with brands to run special offers for the customers at these stores and build shopper engagement models that moves the product from the shelf to the basket.

We are nearing the end of our POC with about 50 stores in Chennai and Bangalore and ITC is already running its first pilot in Chennai. Other companies are going to start the pilot soon. T&A has also developed its own, unique POS application called POSx that it is working on integrating into the project. T&A is built with our funds and basis the success of the POCs, we are sure that there will be ready funding to grow this opportunity exponentially.

The whole business is very analytics led and needs a team that can bring business sense to the data being collected and churned. We are looking at candidates who will like to join this project and deliver insights to the data we are working with.

Head - Business Analytics

The role needs someone who is good with numbers, has strong communication and interpersonal skills, superior problem solving abilities and analytical thinking with hands on experience in building Statistical models in the Retail/ CPG/FMCG Domain. (Preferable)

Job Description :

Design and Build Statistical and Machine learning Models, Market Basket Analysis and Extraction systems

Use the models and dashboards to solve business problems related to client and communicate the solutions to Stakeholders

Sales prediction using time-series modelling

Deploy Advanced Statistical Techniques like R, SAS, SQL, Tableau, Predictive Modelling, SEM

Analyse and Forecasting Technique and churn data to derive meaningful insights and validate using correlation/ regression. Provide actionable and advanced analytics solutions

Skill Set :

Machine Learning : Classification, Regression, Clustering, Feature Engineering

Statistical Model : Time Series, Regression Models, Hypothesis Model

Software & Programming Language : Python, R, SAS, SQL, Tableau

Good at doing data based presentations using MS office tools

Education :

Graduation in Engineering/mathematics/Science/ Economics/ Statistics/ MBA (preferred) /Masters Preferred

Experience :

3-7 yrs. of total exp. in Analytics/ Research. Experience in Retail or FMCG domain will be valuable.
