Poshmark is looking for an entrepreneurial leader with strong e-commerce background to lead business development efforts in various geographies. You will lead the design and implementation of business strategies for launch of Poshmark in new markets. You will also help with scaling the Poshmark community in these new geographies enabling Seller Stylists to thrive on Poshmark. This is a unique opportunity to directly work with senior management at a rapidly growing startup to drive the direction of the business. Responsibilities : - Develop an overall business plan for Poshmark to launch and scale in a new country. - Understand the local market and solve Payments, Logistics and other typical marketplace challenges in a simple, uniform and scalable fashion. - Scale the Poshmark community and create a local ecosystem. - Identify and negotiate various partnerships that can help Poshmark scale rapidly yet efficiently. - Partner with Product and Technology leaders to scale and make Poshmark a global brand. - Lead the development, monitoring and achievement of goals and financial objectives. Ideal Candidate : - Graduate from an accredited college or university; MBA from a top university is a plus. - 10+ years of business development experience. Experience in online and technology space is required. - Deep understanding and passion for Indian e-commerce market is required. - Experience or exposure to challenges with starting a new business, solving challenges and scaling the business is preferred. - Ability to work with cross functional teams; Strong networking and personal skills. - Highest level of integrity, intellectual honesty and strong work ethics. - Ability to clearly and concisely communicate key ideas both verbally and in writing.
