Portfolio Specialist - Finance

We are seeking a Portfolio Specialist to support the Client Portfolio Management (CPM) team across multiple investment strategies, including:

Equity: Active, Quantitative, and Passive

Fixed Income

Multi-Asset

This role will primarily align with the EISG-based investment teams while also providing support to Ken Wong and Joy Chen in Hong Kong, who oversee Greater China strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Management with Upslide:

- Manage and maintain the Upslide content repository across designated strategies and funds.

- Ensure source slide links are correctly established and updated on a monthly/quarterly basis.

- Maintain the integrity of presentation decks across Asia, US, and EU versions, ensuring accurate data extraction and flagging issues to senior CPM leads.

- Assist in compiling ad hoc presentations and conducting research for new slides.

- Collaborate with the team to identify new slides for inclusion in the Upslide library and manage their integration.

2. Presentation & Reporting Support:

- Assist Product Specialists and CPMs with monthly and quarterly reporting, including sourcing data and compiling Monthly Fund Reports (MFR).

- Support the creation of bespoke presentation decks using Upslide and other data sources.

3. AI Macro Commentary Project:

- Collaborate with the team to transition macro commentary from an offshore third party to an internally generated version.

- Work with internal teams to provide existing formats and data to explore AI-generated macro commentary.

4. Data Management:

- Ensure all data used in presentations aligns with centralized data held by the RFP team (Owner: Angela Noble) to maintain consistency and accuracy across reports.

Experience and Attributes:

- We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following qualifications and skills:

- Approximately 5 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably within fund management.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently.

- Financial analysis expertise and a solid understanding of markets across asset classes.

- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (intermediate to advanced level). Experience with Refinitiv, Bloomberg, BlackRock Aladdin, or FactSet is a plus.

- Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills.

- Flexibility to work across time zones in alignment with the Eastspring Singapore team.
