Portfolio Delivery Lead - P&C Insurance (20-30 yrs)
Senior Leadership Role - P&C Insurance
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Delivery Lead, P&C Insurance will be responsible for leading delivery, transformation and financials of a portfolio of key P&C engagements within the practice, and grow/develop the practice through creating solutions for new logo pursuits/expansion pursuits within existing Insurance IOA practice.
Related and Additional Responsibilities/skills:
- Take independent decisions, which have major day-to-day impact in area of responsibility, and may influence direction of other areas
- Identify, assess and resolve complex business problems/issues and provide alternative scenarios
- Provide and implements business-focused solutions within time/cost constraints
- Accountable for developing and managing key internal/external client relationships
- Accountable for CSAT across portfolio of client engagements - NPS, SLA and ensure achievement of key performance indicators/project milestones
- Responsible for fulfillment of contractual obligations/completion of deliverables
- Drive and lead transformation agenda for the Clients leveraging Cognizant suite of solutions and capability
- Manage and ensure consistent application of human resource processes including career development, performance management within area of responsibility
- Research and consult with clients on wealth of repository material of Insurance tools like whitepapers, brochures or any other marketing collateral to help sell P&C offerings
- Represent operations by playing the role of Operations solution architect (transition, transformation, validation of commercial models)
- Support Go-to-Market in the Insurance domain; scan the industry value chain, identify business development opportunities across the value chain
- Make compelling solution presentations to external and internal stakeholders
- Create insurance specific POC solutions and publish thought leadership articles on periodic basis
- Build the practice by the way of industry best practice, knowledge building
- Responsible for benchmarking us against competition
Mandatory Capabilities/Skills /Years of Experience
- 20 years of overall experience with 15+ years within ITeS/BPO, majority in Insurance
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing complex service delivery, multi-group, multi-disciplinary projects, preferable in P&C
- Strong financial and business acumen to lead a portfolio of accounts - revenue and profitability
- P&C domain expert, who has extensive exposure to working with Solutions team- and has owned end-to-end RFP/ RFI response process for Insurance
- Ability to define projects, execute within timelines and with multiple stakeholders, and deliver projects on time and to budget
- Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
- Experience in managing large operational teams across geographies
