About us:

Porter ( https://theporter.in/ ) is a funded early-stage startup disrupting the logistics space in India.

We are an online marketplace for surface logistics and are trying to address market inefficiencies and low capacity utilization in the logistics sector, namely difficulty in getting the return trip/fare or idle unused inventory using mobile technology. We are working on re-imagining logistics in India.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Responsible for Strategizing and handling day to day operations in the specific city.

- Responsible for integration of ground operations with technology, core operations.

- To ensure long term and profitable relationships with business partners and supply retention-

- Competitive Understanding - Keep a close watch on the competitive landscape of the city.

- Performance monitoring, cost and process- optimization- of last mile delivery-

- Devise Implementation- strategy- for new products/process launched.-

Skills Required:

- BE/B Tech from Tier 1 engineering college.

- Enjoy ambiguity and uncertainty

- A core multi-tasker at heart

- Should have 3-5 years of experience in Operations and Strategy.

- Prefer candidates worked in Similar startup companies or Top FMCGs

- Co-founded a startup (Or senior roles with team management role) is preferred.
