- PolicyBazaar.com is India's largest insurance marketplace and a leading fintech player globally. It has backing from a host of investors including the likes of Softbank, InfoEdge (Naukri.com), Temasek, Tiger Global Management, True North, Premji Invest.

- The portal started in 2008 with a purpose to educate people on insurance products and has had a significant influence on how insurance is bought in India. It has helped in driving penetration of pure life insurance, health insurance, and such products which were barely bought earlier.

- From receiving traffic of 180,000 visitors in 2008, PolicyBazaar.com has come a long way and today hosts over 100 million visitors yearly, and records 10 transactions on its platform every minute.

- The company collected Rs 3,500 cr of insurance premium in FY19, and is on track to double this figure in FY20. PolicyBazaar.com accounts for nearly 25% of India's life cover, and over 7% of India's retail health business. It accounts for roughly half of all internet based insurance purchase in the country.

- Policybazaar is looking for an SEO Manager to coordinate SEO efforts, including onsite and offsite optimization and keyword expansion research.

- We are looking for an analytical and perceptive professional who is a skilled communicator and able to collaborate with various teams.

- Current knowledge of SEO practices and techniques is essential to this role. Your goal will be to ensure that content is search-engine friendly and optimized to increase our company's profitability.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Plan and execute set traffic growth targets and identify new opportunities to grow the organic traffic.

- Developing, tracking, and monitoring SEO targets, including KPIs and OKRs, in alignment with business strategy

- Tracking, reporting and analyzing website analytics. Executing tests, collecting and analyzing data, identifying trends and insights in order to achieve maximum engagement and achieving competitive keyword rankings.

- Cooperating with internal stakeholders across marketing and engineering teams

- Staying ahead of industry changes and acting as our in-house expert on new approaches to SEO

- Conducting keyword research to identify improvement and optimization opportunities.

- Managing offsite and onsite optimization projects and reporting on performance.

- Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels in order to improve rankings

- Manage team of SEO Specialists

Required Skills :

- 7+ years of experience in SEO, ideally in a start-up and/or e-commerce company

- Technical proficiency, including the ability to speak developers' language

- An analytical mindset and a very good understanding of business-savvy SEO KPIs

- Proficiency with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, MOZ), including Google Search Console and crawling software

- Strong communication skills and a persuasive personality

- Hands-on, goal-driven, and a positive attitude

- Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices

- Knowledge of HTML/CSS

- Experience with SEO reporting

- Strong organizational and leadership skills

- Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude

Education & experience : Bachelor's/Master's degree in relevant skills with 7+ Years of experience.
