Legal Contract Manager


Key Responsibility Areas:


1. End-to-end contract management (vetting, negotiating and execution of agreements including strategic agreements).

2. Understanding and analysing new business initiatives from legal and regulatory perspective and holding discussions with business regarding the same and providing assistance in implementation of new business initiatives.

3. Maintenance and regular review of all executed agreements with renewal follow-ups with business.

4. Responsible for assisting in regulatory / legal compliances along with regulatory and statutory audits on need basis.

5. Keeping track of all regulatory changes/laws impacting the business of the company.

6. Periodic review and ensuring legal compliance of the company's website.

7. Maintaining good coordination with all internal departments of the company and liaising with external counsels for regulatory work as and when required.

8. Responsible for MIS of agreements and ensuring maintenance of the legal database.

9. Other tasks that may be specified from time to time.

Requirements and skills :

1. Law degree from a reputed college/university.

2. Post qualification experience of 7 to 8 years working in legal departments of corporates/law firms. Experience of working in the legal department of fintech companies will be an added advantage.

3. Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures. Knowledge of insurance laws will be an added advantage.

4. Sound legal reasoning with an ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.

5. Outstanding communication skills, self-starter with an ability to meet deadlines in a competitive environment.
