Policy/Procedure Manager

Job Purpose :

- Act as custodian of the company governance documentation, ensuring the translation of business strategy into governance documentation that can be adopted by the company in alignment with international, local, and company regulatory requirements. Facilitate, maintain and manage all required activities related to updating, monitoring and publishing policies and procedures.

- Approval of all governance documentation based on the defined operating model prior to publication.

- Quality of governance documentation

- Availability of up-to-date standardized governance documentation

- No. of continuous improvement initiatives implemented

- Reports are prepared in time and accurately.

1. Operational & Business Plans :

- Translate the project delivery strategy into policy, procedure and product program operational/business plans and monitor execution/performance to ensure that objectives are achieved and targets are met.

- Serve as a focal point of contact in Risk Management to ensure continuity, proper integration and implementation of new or revised policies and procedures.

2. People Management :

- Manage and evaluate P&P employees performance with continuous feedback on their assigned targets and provide development opportunities to maximize potential and engagement of employees.

3. Budgeting & Financial Performance :

- Prepare and recommend the policy and procedure budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified Promptly.

4. Policies and Procedures Development :

- Support the business in improving governance documentation to optimize the operation of the company and ensure that all regulatory commitments are met.

- Ensure the delivery of a quality, cost effective service to customers (i.e. company employees) that satisfies or exceeds business requirements

- Act as a partner to all business and operational functions within the company, understanding their business needs and the impact of governance documentation on their operation and that of the company.

- Ensure governance documentation is kept up-to-date and accurate and made available to all appropriate users

- Build engagement in key strategic policy areas, emphasizing the role of control groups in meeting key development challenges. This would include: working with internal and external stakeholders to determine key policy areas; building company's policy, Procedure and product program positions in these key areas; and developing best practice guidance in line with company standard.

- Build and direct strong, well-designed, well-defined Policies and Product Program requested by SAMA and ensure approval from the high management including CEO and Board of director

- Lead the review and discussion of proposed policy changes recommended by other departments.

- Recommend and develop process re-engineering of the system transactions and operational functions.

- Adhere to the company's AML/CTF policy, guidelines and all SAMAs regulations.

5. Policies and Procedures Effectiveness :

- Ensure that existing policies, procedures and product programs are effectiveness, and direct the enhancements as identified in order to update the documents accordingly.

- Recommend and develop process re-engineering of the system transactions and operational functions.

- Manage the formalized process for vetting, approval, and issuance of all policies and procedures.

6. Service Level Agreements :

- Direct the development and setting of SLAs in order to enhance the delivery of governance documentation services within the company by maintaining a high standard of quality and speed of execution.

7. Continuous Improvement :

- Ensure the continuous improvement of the process for the production, update, storage and publication of the company governance documentation in line with business requirements and quality expectations.

- Motivate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of business processes, productivity and cost reduction.

8. Reporting :

- Supervise the preparation of timely and accurate statements and reports to meet operational/business requirements, policies and standards

- Communicate new policies as well as key updates or revisions to employees on a regular basis.

- Maintain records of current policies and procedures as well as the history of all revisions and posting periods.

- Develop and maintain a tracking system to capture changes in policies and procedures.
