Job Summary :

The Policy Analyst role is responsible for understanding micro and macro-economic trends, perform analysis and provide meaning and perspective to members of the investment team, stakeholders, key partners product team and sales

Reporting to Chief Investment Officer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preparing, reviewing micro economic trends on a regular basis and providing a commentary.

2. Develop presentations and communication on products and asset classes

3. Write regular commentary on asset classes like Equity & Debt. Cover other asset classes when required

4. Assist the CIO in preparing for roadshows with foreign / domestic investors and institutions.

5. Provide assistance in preparing for interactions with JV Partner, AMC Board and other stakeholders

6. Collate external and internal inputs to create insight on economic trends to brief senior management on a regular basis

Skills, Background and experience:

1. The incumbent should possess outstanding written and oral communication skills, persuasiveness along with the ability to analyse large diverse sets of economic data related analytics. A sound understanding of economic concepts, economic indicators, asset classes and their behavior is essential.

2. Up to 5 years of post-graduate experience in a similar role, preferably in a securities / brokerage house of international repute.

3. Graduate / Chartered Accountant plus MBA from a top ranked institute or post graduate degree from an internationally ranked institution is essential.

4. This position requires a very high degree of regular interactions with stakeholders e.g. AMC Board, MD, CIO, Investment Team and external agencies like domestic financial institutions or significant investors. The candidate needs to display a degree of maturity and in all interactions.
