Responsibilities: 1. Engage with members to create and evolve the plan. 2. Monitor and analyse existing regulatory and policy developments that concern exports, trade, manufacturing and innovation of the food and drink manufacturing industry, and ensure that members of the organisation are kept informed by producing concise, informative and insightful briefings based on constant research. 3. Arrange quarterly meetings of the group and produce monthly reports for the group. Produce briefings and papers for Ministers and officials. 4. Facilitate and oversee research to develop the evidence base to highlight the Group policy positions. 5. Build and maintain links with key stakeholders and influence decision-makers in the food and drink sector (across India) to ensure that they are aware of the opportunities and issues food and drink companies face in India. 6. Participating in industry associations and other industry groups on regulatory changes, including contributing to industry association responses to consultation papers at a state or even central level. 7. Facilitate high-level meetings for members and senior management with key stakeholders, including senior government officials, regulators, industry association and alliance partners to promote and advocate the Group's public policy positions. Qualification: A degree in Public Policy, Economics or Law. Experience: 1. Around 10+ years of experience in food and drink regulatory affairs in India, including significant experience running public policy efforts at a central and state level. 2. Proven professional experience in the Indian public affairs, policy development and issue management, gained in a corporate, trade association, public affairs consultancy, or government department
