Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant with 3 to 6 years of experience in Direct Taxation to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in direct tax laws and have hands-on experience in handling compliance, audits, and assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparation and timely filing of Income Tax Returns (ITRs) for the organization and group entities, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with applicable laws and deadlines.

- Manage and support direct tax audits conducted by statutory authorities. Handle tax assessments and reassessments, including preparation of submissions, attending hearings, and ensuring timely resolution of queries.

- Draft and file appeals with relevant authorities such as CIT(A) and ITAT. Coordinate with legal counsel, represent the company in proceedings, and maintain proper documentation.

- Respond promptly and effectively to notices received from Income Tax authorities. Ensure full compliance with all directives and correspondence in a timely manner.

- Track and reconcile tax refunds and ensure accurate reporting of tax receivables. Follow up with authorities for pending refunds and maintain necessary records.

- Prepare and maintain periodic reports related to notices, assessments, refunds, and appeals. Ensure that tax records and documentation are updated, organized, and easily accessible for audits or internal review.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3-6 years of post-qualification experience in direct taxation

- Strong understanding of Indian Income Tax laws and regulations

- Prior experience in handling notices, assessments, and appeals

- Proficient in tax computation software and MS Office tools

- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
