Job Description


We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Group CFO to lead the global finance function of a diversified multinational corporation with over 50 business units across multiple geographies and sectors. The ideal candidate will be a transformational leader with deep expertise in financial strategy, governance, risk management, capital structuring, and cross-border financial operations. This is a board-level position that plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the companys long-term growth and profitability objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

- Drive the financial strategy of the group to support sustainable growth, profitability, and shareholder value.

- Partner with the Group CEO and executive leadership on M&A, restructuring, capital allocation, and investment decisions.

- Support strategic planning, scenario modeling, and performance forecasting at the group level.

- Oversee consolidated financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis across all business units.

- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial statements in accordance with international accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP).

- Implement group-wide financial controls, compliance protocols, and risk mitigation frameworks.

- Manage relationships with global financial institutions, investors, and rating agencies.

- Oversee debt and equity financing strategies; optimize capital structure and working capital.

- Lead treasury functions including cash flow planning, forex risk management, and liquidity management.

- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements across all jurisdictions of operation.

- Strengthen internal audit, governance, and enterprise risk management systems.

- Drive margin improvement, cost optimization, and financial efficiency initiatives across business units.

- Develop standardized finance practices and systems for scalability and transparency.

- Champion finance digitalization and ERP implementations across the group.

- Leverage data analytics to provide financial insights and decision support tools to the leadership.

- Lead and mentor a global finance team; establish succession and talent development plans.

- Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and ethical finance culture.


Qualifications & Experience:

Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory


- Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience in finance, with recent leadership roles in large corporate groups or MNCs.

- Proven experience in managing multi-entity, multi-country finance operations.

- Strong background in financial strategy, compliance, treasury, and corporate finance.

- Experience in M&A, capital raising, and stakeholder management is an advantage.
