We are looking for an experienced growth professional to join our team. You will be responsible for growing the distribution of the channel's content on all existing and new distribution platforms. You will be responsible for customer and user acquisition, activation retention and upselling through product and distribution interventions. Job Description : - Be the voice of the user. Eat data for breakfast - Understand the channel's strategic and competitive positioning and work to improve it - Monitor changes in the digital media landscape to develop perspectives on impact on channel and to identify new marketing opportunities - Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how our users interact with both our consumer and business products. - Create behavioral and demographic segmentation to help drives new initiatives - Listen to the customers and glean insights from their feedback - Test into new platforms and technology to identify new formats, products and audiences to accelerate growth 10x - Launch MVPs and experiments, iterate quickly based on findings and clearly communicate updates, risks and issues to cross functional partners and key stakeholders - Partner with other teams (content, marketing) to manage an experimentation roadmap to optimize performance - Optimize current channel performance. Build and maintain analytics, key metrics and systems to measure performance. - Play a key role in strategizing and buying ad inventory for the channel and optimizing as per the channel's growth strategy - Work closely with channel manager and growth analyst to determine growth opportunities for the channel through new properties and / or new platforms - Project management of cross-functional initiatives including (but not limited to) organizing, mobilizing and planning internal task force meetings and brainstorm sessions and external presentations Requirements: - A passion for media, entertainment, and popular culture. - Strong familiarity with entertainment/media or consumer internet/digital technology businesses - 2+ years prior experience in product management, consulting, or digital marketing - Innovative/creative, independent problem solver and a driver of change - Strong analytical, modeling, and presentation skills - Excellent communicator in both oral and written settings with strong negotiation skills - Self driven, results-oriented, decisive with high energy levels - Innovative/creative, independent problem solver and a driver of change - Self confident and able to act on constructive feedback - Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail should be complemented by a flexible approach to shifting priorities on multiple assignments - Creativity, adaptability, tenacity, a sense of urgency and a hands-on orientation - Prior experience of platform features and network growth on social media platforms - Bias to action to achieve success in a fast moving environment - Data-first mindset
